Riserva naturale dello zingaro was the first natural reserve set up in Sicily in May 1981, located almost completely in the municipal territory of San Vito Lo Capo. It stretches along some seven kilometers of unspoilt coastline of the Gulf of Castellammare and its mountain chain, the setting of steep cliffs and little bays. The Zingaro Reserve has a large variety and abundance of rare and endemic plants, as well as a rich fauna. The highly varied ecological niches give a great diversity which is not easily found in others parts of the island. In the Zingaro Reserve at least 39 species of birds nest and mate, mainly birds of prey, including the peregrine falcon, the common kestrel and the common buzzard. The area has also a rich archaeological past; for example the spectacular Grotta dell'Uzzo was one of the first prehistoric settlements in Sicily. The reserve has a complex network of paths, shelters, water taps, picnic areas, museums, carpark, and other amenities; there are no roads and it can only be visited on foot. The Zingaro Reserve incorporates not only the land and beaches, but also the adjacent sea. The beautiful beaches, pebbled and lapped by the clear blue sea, can be reached along various rather steep paths.
Possibly the best B&B I've ever been in. All the essentials (cleanliness, decor, atmosphere, location, homemade delicious breakfast, and so on) are spectacular! All this is complimented by Maria the superhost. She went above and beyond in everything from personally made coffee and accommodating extra needs to making you feel at home in a place that is clearly her pride and joy. Wifi, air conditioning, additional outside spaces and beautiful modern rooms and bathrooms are also included. Truly can't recommend enough. Grazie davvero tanto Maria e ci vediamo il prossimo anno!
Over the years we have rented multiple properties through Vacant San Vito. Benedetto is always very helpful and responsive during the rental process. He and his associates are also easily accessible and willing to help should there be any need during the rental period. Check in and check out are always simple and efficient. The properties are always clean and as advertised. We will continue to do business with Benedetto and Vacanza San Vito in the years to come!
Casa mandorlo is one of the best holiday homes that we have ever stayed in! Antonella and Giuseppe are kind and helpful, the house is very close to the house. The house is comfortable, well equipped, with a beautiful, shady terrace where you can eat. Highly recoemmended!

Excellent apartments between the hill and the sea. Great hospitality from the owners. Beautiful location surrounded by greenery and without any parking problems. A really good choice! Highly recommended
It offers services to people with disabilities, welcoming them in the Lido, with the possibility of entering with a wheelchair through wooden platforms up to the umbrella with sun lounger. Two escorts help by accompanying the disabled person to swim in the sea.
I attended a presentation of paintings with the presence of the artist and many small collateral events that made the evening memorable. The outdoor space allows you to be outdoors even without losing what happens inside this beautiful and modern showroom
