Absolutely superb! This place serves excellent food, good local wine and the waiting staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
I suspect they are trying to get a Michelin star and based on this experience, I think they will soon get one.

Very impressed with the food and the service. Came here for a birthday celebration for my aunty and she rated it highly from previous lunches where she'd had pasta. The set dinner was a great fine dining experience. Visually exciting and a wide variety of flavours. The service was also above expectations, even giving my cousin a powerbank to charge his phone without us asking. Will definitely try again if I ever come back to San Gimignano

Yes, the plates look like paintings, but it has nothing to do with the taste. Only like the smoked spaghetti, which is one of seven tasting meals we have tried.
People there does not understand english, they remember the explanations that should be given, but once the client ask for something else, they never respond.
By the end, we had to pay 270 Euro for a couple, just crazy for what you get. SAVE YOUR MONEY!
I wish I could remember the name of our two servers but honestly this is one of the best lunches we had ever had the food was immaculate please try the 50 shades of vegetable.
The current menu is incredible - there is a subtle Japanese influence that imparts a delightful twist on already fabulously delicious food. Every dish that came out was more amazing than the last. The wine pairings were excellent (the sommelier was cheerful and very knowledgeable), the staff were welcoming and highly attentive, and the ambiance was cozy and romantic. A delightful meal for a special occasion!
