We had an excellent tour guide. The boat was clean he was very informative and funny,made the ride enjoyable,able to carry drinks on boat that u purchase next to the ticket counter for boat ride. They make fabulous margaritas all flavors!
Amazing shopping and food. Boat tours are fun also, especially if you get Juan as your skipper.
Love San Antonio!!! Riverwalk is beautiful at night but you can't walk holding hands because walk way is to small and it always seems your walking to slow for the person behind you.Its hard to stop and take pictures because the people want you to keep moving because it's hard for them to go around you do to on coming walkers.I would like to see a couple of benches just to sit and maybe meet others without having to buy food.
Visiting San Antonio in the middle of the summer can only make it easier to stroll down the river Walk and take the time to ride the boats, the tour last about 30 - 40 minutes with funny and knowledgeable staff, it’s worth the try!
We also walked around many national recognized restaurants with a great selection of food, wine and locally brewed beer.
We stopped by the ice cream shop and enjoyed sitting in the bistro tables inside the shop.
I will have to mention the homeless and street performers are all down the river.
At times it didn’t feel safe!
It’s best to visit in groups, there’s also the oldest speak easy bar The Esquire located directly across from the Drury hotel
