They seem a bit undermanned in terms of the poolside bar/restaurant.
Had a great time staying here for the weekend! Nice room with the beach just right off the back porch. Staff was very kind and I had no problem while staying here. Would definitely come back again!
Over all the stay was enjoyable. The hotel is right on St. Pete public beach which is very convenient. You can tell by the deign that the Hotel has been around for a long time with you compare the architecture with the other hotels in the area. When you fist walk in and through the halls there is a slight musty smell which is sort of understandable being its right on the beach. I didn't really notice the smell in the room. The rooms them selves were clean and the maid service was good.
There was a large pool and seating area (no hot tub) that had direct access to the public beach. there was also a full service bar and seating area as well.
There is a restaurant on the propriety that only served breakfast. Not sure if that's all the time or due to covid and it just had reduced service. The breakfast was not included with the price of the room so if you do stay you will want to consider the extra expense of staying there verse other hotels that may be more but include breakfast.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone who was looking for a place to stay in St Pete.
Nasty demeanor of restaurant manager lady kind of colored our feelings of the stay.
Great room we had asked for a downstairs, cause of my disability, we got it earlier than expected was great customer service at desk,we had room 178 gulf front,great to have a coffee prayer and read the bible,on patio right out door,and to watch sunset in evenings too.Then Beale to head down to beach area. We well be back requesting that same room every time. We go on beach trips every other month. Always looking for good spots and we did find one with you. Thank you. The food and drinks were very good. Even better than we expected, breakfast was great too. Never had to leave resort for any reason. Everything affordable from food,and drinks. Brought grandkids from CO they had a blast loved the pool being heated. Now we did have to walk a pretty good ways for them to go on the banana boat once two days in a row. We were there for 3 days and 2 nights,would have stayed one more night but you were already book up for there night. All the staff very nice. We read reviews, they weren't too good .
