Reviews from visitors:
We stayed at this resort on New Years because it was one of the few resorts with availability. The resort was perfectly situated, right on the beach, with many neighboring resorts and beach bars within walking distance. We stayed in a King Poolside Suite, equipped with a kitchenette. Upon arrival, we discovered that the poolside rooms are the only room category that allows pets, as they have tile flooring. This is a downfall for this room category as we could hear a dog barking in a neighboring room for an extended period of time. Luckily, the dog eventually stopped barking. Additionally, our room had a musty smell to it and we could hear children running around above us during our stay. It is also important to note that there are a lot of children at this resort and it is definitely a more family-oriented resort. These things aside, the hotel was fine for a one night stay and a decent value for the money spent, considering we stayed here on a holiday. However, I would say that we probably wouldn't return to this particular resort in St. Pete Beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in St. Pete Beach, but believe the resort could certainly benefit from a remodel.
Suite was nice in that we could put kids to bed then close the door and play cards/sir on the patio/hang out without disturbing them. Mini fridge was not turned up very high when we first got there but worked well after we turned it to colder. Room was decorated well, could tell it had been updated but still little things here and there that showed it's age. Staff was very pleasant and location was great as well. We'd definitely stay again.
This place is awesome. We have stayed many places and this is probably one of the best places we have stayed. Don’t let it’s size fool you, this place has everything the big places have to offer. Great place for families they have shuffle board, tennis and basketball. The rooms are a decent size for beach front property. Well kept and maintained property, rooms are clean. Beach is beautiful. And last but not least the staff here is fabulous, friendly and kind! If we visit this area again we will definitely return. You can’t go wrong staying here!
We stayed in a king room facing the pool. The hotel is situated right on the beach and is walking distance to plenty of bars, restaurants, and dessert businesses. 2 pools on site with a hot tub gave us plenty of room to relax and swim. Being right on the beach also had benefits of a bar and food truck with great drinks and food with a location right in front of the hotel for sunset cruises, parasailing, jet skiing, and other water activities. Overall great hotel!
The pictures on the site oversold the property for the price we paid for our visit. While the location is great, the building it very outdated and in need of renovation. The sink would not drain, there were bugs in the kitchen area, and the floor obviously wasn't vacuumed from the previous guest. The staff I encountered were nice and courteous but the upkeep of the property didn't match the expectations set or the graciousness of the staff. The view and location were great but I would have stayed elsewhere given the opportunity.
