Well, I had high expectations for this place but it ended up being very pricey and not good service. Moreover, the food was just regular and the server took my card away for ‘not knowing business’, and returned after a while, which is completely no sense. Not back really!
The hotel is very comfortable and we enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains from our room. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful.
Food in the restaurant was exceptional and breakfast was delicious, we really appreciated the home made quality of much of the buffet.

My husband and I love this well kept, family owned, built in 1780s hotel and restaurant. Comfortable bed, room is enough size for the limited time we spent in it. Convenient location for all the hiking of the area. Short drive to trail heads of several stunning Cirques. The food was the best we've had in the 3 weeks we've toured France. We stayed 5 nights at this location. Be sure to stay on a Thursday night to enjoy the traditional dinner prepared right before us in the old kitchen fireplace located in the dining room. This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and look forward to another stay in the future.
