An great place to relax the overski-ed muscles. 19 different spa components makes for a truly relaxing day. Great treatments offered too but the hot pools with view of snow capped mountain tops and surrounded by alpine mountains was amazing!
Les Thermes de Saint-Gervais is in fact a thermal bath with the source being the hot springs of the Mont Blanc mountain range. The entire experience is that of a spa, including massages. During the peak season, it can be crowded, hence it is recommended to book slots before hand. For massages, it must be booked at least 3 weeks in advance.
Public transportation is not the most convenient mode of travel to this place, however Gare Saint-Gervais Le Fayet is the nearest railway station and bus station.
It costs around 42 € per person. Overall, the place is recommended!
We called 4 times at different hours and got no answer, then we drive 45min to get there just to learn that they were full. The two receptionists with no one in front of them told us that they were too busy to answer phone calls.
Maybe putting a message on your website would help if your employees are too lazy to pick up the phone?
The building is a little secluded in a nice park close to a stream.
The water is flowing through the mountain and comes out hot and loaded in minerals.
The place is clean but gets quite busy from 14h to 17h.
You have at your disposal 3 external pools, 2 internal, 3 sauna and 2 hammam. This sounds like a lot, but actually they are often quite small.
At the first floor you have some further things but most leave me doubtful on their usefulness.
Having said that, relaxing in one of the pools outside is fantastic, surrounded by trees, listening to the river and birds...
