Some great runs for a noob like me here. Did my first session of carving on a snowboard so I'm well happy. Just like everywhere round here food and drink is expensive so bring your own or loads of cash!
Spot on area and only a little of it explored. At the top of hill I was approached by a volunteer "abassedeur". How lovely. As I was looking out for some specific pistes for a nervy friend he was able to shortcircuit the task for me. Excellent. Okay, so why do other areas get you to fend for yourselves? A negative? Yes. If skiing is to get youngsters involved a 45 euro ticket for 4 hours needs to be addressed. Oh and silly prices for walkers to get up the hill to eat also needs some attention. Why are the restauranters not up in arms? But the skiing? Excellent for the red/blue brigade.
Exceptional ski area for all ages and levels, just be careful at the end of the day to return to the good station, especially between Megève and Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, after 18.00 there is no bus connection and taxi is quite expensive
Great place even with not much snow, you can always enjoy! Happy to spend my holidays here
At the ESF ski school you couldn't find a better place to learn as a beginner. For those more experienced the facilities are top. Queues can be long first thing in the morning at busy times so you should plan accordingly.
