Reviews from visitors:
As a person who travels abroad regularly, I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and it is certainly worthy of 5 stars. OK I understand the situation with COVID-19 that a lot of hotels are struggling in the area but we have booked one bedroom with private pool and it was perfect. Walking distance from Landa beach and accessible on all pools operated by the hotel. We couldn't ask for more.
There is an extra cost for room service due to cover-19 and less staff operating at the hotel but overall we had a very pleasant experience. Next year it needs some finishing touches and more staff too accommodate travellers. Air conditioning is very good on the room, with two large smart tv's.
Even on our last day there is a luggage room and the staff help us so we could go to the beach, or the swimming pools and leave in the afternoon with our luggages.
Keep in mind the main white pool that you see from the images was not opened this year due to covid-19 restrictions but there are two more pools on the other side of the hotel close to the beach and Nozomi bar
The first time we stayed there, they gave us a studio instead of the two-bedroom apartment we had originally booked, but they charged us for the price of the two-bedroom apartment and there excuse was that they only saw two people at the reception so they gave us the smaller room. We decided to give them one more chance since the location was good....This time the air conditioning was not working and we did not even have towels in our room. When we told them they said that they were fully booked and did not have spare rooms to give us if the a/c did not get fixed and that they would give us our money back and we could leave if we wanted to (all these after we waited 45 minutes for the technician to arrive). Their response was terrible for a five-star hotel and especially during this pandemic period, all hotels should have spare rooms or at least they could have offered to pay our stay to some other hotel. Also, staff members were not wearing masks and antiseptic gels or hygiene products were nowhere to be found in the common areas of the hotel.
This time last month I stayed in this hotel for 10 days. Needless to say I was appalled. The room we booked for was not ready when we arrived so we were moved into a room smaller than we needed. Two days later we were moved into another room that was still not the room we booked. Then the next day we moved into our final room where I was shocked to find an ants nest near the tap! Each room we stayed in the air-conditioning was broken and they had to send someone out to fix it. The Pool displayed on the website was closed. For breakfast there was only two options and when I ordered my breakfast it arrived cold . The service of some of the bar/restaurant staff was disappointing and their attitude was unprofessional. The service was also very slow. The keys to the doors to all rooms didn’t work on multiple occasions. Overall, I had a Disappointing stay and would not recommend!
Worst experience ever! A big NO for this!
We arrived at the NOT so WHITE club resort at 2:10 for check in and came across some really bad incidents. One of the guests came running at the front desk to complain that as he walked into the room he was given (after many hours of waiting), he found inside other residents staying there. Which means that the key cards can probably open all doors on the premises. So quite a safety issue there.
Another lady started shouting at the receptionist asking for refund as her 12 year old son almost threw up when he saw the disgusting condition of the room. She also complained that she booked a one bedroom apartment but she was given a studio although they were 2 adults and 2 infants. When she asked for a refund (after just walking in her room and getting straight back to the reception) they denied giving her money back at first. After half an hour and a lot of frustrating arguments with the lady at the reception they offered to give her back only a 70% refund. An hour later and after the clearly uppset and distressed customer informed them she was calling the police, hotel management decided to give her a full refund.
Our turn to get the room we booked came after a three and a half hours delay, since as they said it was not ready yet! After all that waiting and without getting any apologies from the hotel management we got our key card and walked into our room only to find it disgustingly dirty! Went back at the front desk and asked for our room to be made again. After 15 minutes the cleaner left the room and we came accross a quite frustrating and unforgivable sight.
Dirty unwashed towels provided by the hotel.
Toilet seat covered in urine and used toilet paper trims all over the floor.
Bedsheets full of stains and hair. Unswept floors full of sand, leaves and see weed (our room was on the first floor)
Dead bugs in every corner of the room and spiders on the walls.
The couch was brocken and dirty. (they used a sheet to cover the ugly stains.)
Air conditioning was insufficient and could not cool the room, having as a result a steaming hot room in which it was impossible to sleep at night.
Plastic bags full of garbage were just left on the floor all around the premises until someone whould pick them up..in mid August. Imagine the smell!
We asked several times to speak with the manager and their responce was that he was not there and they couldn't disturb him with a call! We left our personal phone number at the front desk in order he or she would give us a call at first chance, but no one did in all 5 days. Needles to say we had to waste the first day of our holidays cleaning the room ourselves with cleaning materials and equipment we bought in order to make our stay bearable! Unfortunately couldn't do anything about the smell.
The worst part, is the fact that all this was taking place over COVID-19 season.
Staff was not wearing gloves while transacting with clients but wore masks... on their chin.. plus there was no antiseptic in shared spaces but one small bottle at the hotel entrance.
Please note that this excuse of a boutique hotel is no longer an Atlantica group member. Dont be misled!
