Definitely do the tour. Our guide, Karoline was great. Funny and insightful. Wonderful history, glass elevators, one of them round, and a spectacular view.
The spectacular tower in the Old Town (Suitable for people who does not like walking up the tower too)
1. The scenery that you can see from the tower is spectacular. You can literally overlook the old town and the whole city of Prague in 360 degree.
2. For people who are not willing to walk up the stair, you can also take the elevators.
3. Hope you enjoy your view up there.
The Old Town Hall was established in 1338, as the administrative centre for the Old Town.
Fast forward to now. The administrative centre may be gone, and in its place is a fantastic building to explore and a great tower, that when at the top, gives you a 360 degree view of central Prague.
Outside, its a tourist magnet due to the Astronomical Clock on the wall of the Old Town Hall. However, once you get passed the crowds, its all good. If you go to the top of the tower, there are two lifts. The views are amazing. Well worth the 250 CKZ it costs to enter the Old Town Hall.
Beautiful and there are many activities around the square, I recommend visiting it
The Old Town Hall is stunning from everywhere you can look. The art on the ceiling is unique and breathtaking. The view of the city from the tower is the best view in all directions. I loved the futuristic looking elevator to the top. This is the best spot for taking pictures and appreciating the entire city.
