One of the coziest hotels I've stayed at! The rooms are very comfortable and have a homey vibe to them. The staff is very helpful and accommodating as well; one of the nights our next door neighbor was being loud around 3am, which kept us awake, and when my partner told the front desk they extended our checkout til 3pm so we could get some rest! We thought that was amazing. We would definitely return
Honestly the service is what makes this place 5 stars to me. I had probably some of the worst anxiety I’ve ever had, and had to get a room even though I’m a local. The woman at the front desk who checked me in assured me that I could let her know if I needed anything, which really just made me want to cry, it was so nice. Jamaal was also amazing with helping me change rooms, and I appreciate that to no end.
There are a few things that I think could be a little better, but are understandable for a newer hotel. For example, the parking garage is across the street, and I had no idea how to get into it without walking where the cars exit and enter. It’s also pretty expensive to park there - I think I paid around $25 a night - but I couldn’t find any information on the pricing until I got there. There’s also no pool, which really I’m just saddened about that meaning no hot tub. I would also suggest just minor information be added or updated to the Hyatt’s site - for instance, dinner was served until 10, but the site says 9pm (get the corn chowder, it’s to die for).
On the other end, even for a con weekend, it wasn’t busy. While I could generally hear the MAX going by, this was probably the quietest hotel I’ve been in... usually I can hear people closing their doors, but there was nothing here. I’m sure down the line it’ll get pricier, but I was amazed at how cheap it was to stay at this location for being where it is, and in a prime location with the MAX right next to it.
Simply a great stay, and I appreciate all the kindness.
This hotels a little dated, as far as the interior design. The location and staff more than compensate for the dated interior exterior. Inside has the look I has the look of The Love Boat! I don't know why you remind me of that show.
Great community office structure. Companies big and small can play on the same turf here. Extensive business amenities, awesome staff to assist, and spectacular views from the upper floors.
Getting the 1st COVID 19 shot today. Very well managed and they keep you moving right along. Be prepared for a at least 60-90 minutes from the time you arrive to going home. Parking is either at the Convention Center garage or across the street (pay either way).
A little extra about the vaccine:
The shot is painless but they warn that your arm will be quite sore in a few days. Newest research says acetaminophen and ibuprofen decrease the effectiveness of the vaccine, so don't take those for the arm pain. Be patient and take care!
I've gone to this space a few times for networking events and have used this space to get some work done when I need a quiet place with good energy.
The administrators are very friendly and the workspaces are clean an spacious. Highly recommend for budding entrepreneur s!
