Reviews from visitors:
Place is very nice. But parking is not easy and overpriced.
Honestly the service is what makes this place 5 stars to me. I had probably some of the worst anxiety I’ve ever had, and had to get a room even though I’m a local. The woman at the front desk who checked me in assured me that I could let her know if I needed anything, which really just made me want to cry, it was so nice. Jamaal was also amazing with helping me change rooms, and I appreciate that to no end.
There are a few things that I think could be a little better, but are understandable for a newer hotel. For example, the parking garage is across the street, and I had no idea how to get into it without walking where the cars exit and enter. It’s also pretty expensive to park there - I think I paid around $25 a night - but I couldn’t find any information on the pricing until I got there. There’s also no pool, which really I’m just saddened about that meaning no hot tub. I would also suggest just minor information be added or updated to the Hyatt’s site - for instance, dinner was served until 10, but the site says 9pm (get the corn chowder, it’s to die for).
On the other end, even for a con weekend, it wasn’t busy. While I could generally hear the MAX going by, this was probably the quietest hotel I’ve been in... usually I can hear people closing their doors, but there was nothing here. I’m sure down the line it’ll get pricier, but I was amazed at how cheap it was to stay at this location for being where it is, and in a prime location with the MAX right next to it.
Simply a great stay, and I appreciate all the kindness.
My family and I just stayed for the weekend while attending a competition in the city. I’ve worked for the Hyatt in the past (for a different city) but I was highly impressed. Rooms were clean, beds were cozy. I rarely heard sounds in other rooms. I felt comfortable and safe! The club employees were very informational, professional and so willing to help out! The food was beautiful and I can tell they work very hard. Front desk was so polite and professional. They jumped for us with each request! Appreciate that. Valet guys were on it as well! Over all, clearly everyone there takes their job seriously and bends over backwards to impress. Thank you Hyatt!
Place was supper clean, staff was really nice, and we got a great deal for the weekend. Only grip was that the parking garage was a bit of a walk not being in the same side as the entrance, but we ended up catching the train or tram everywhere we needed to go because it was in front of the hotel. That convince easily made it one of the best hotel vacation experiences I’ve ever had in a new city. We definitely will be back.
First time staying here, the customer service was excellent, loved the little personalized touches like the name on the TV screen, they were accommodating and the streamlined check-in and checkout process was a bonus, along with the the room being very clean, modern, it smelled good and loved the movement sensitive night lights under the bathroom sink and the king bed. It's those little details that tell someone that they're appreciated and not taken for granted! Well done Hyatt Regency, you made one happy customer that will be back soon!
