Windows boarded up and turned into artwork
They held part of the Light Festival here and it was awesome....
Writing this review on behalf of my boyfriend, who is a delivery driver. Neither of us have visited the WTC for non-work purposes and therefore cannot speak to its qualities in that respect. This review is instead directed at the WTC staff. My boyfriend attempted a delivery for work today and, unable to find the suite number for a delivery on the package, followed a sign directing him to "window for assistance." He went to the window and rang the bell at the front. After waiting for several minutes, a woman appeared and told him (paraphrasing): "You didn't ring the bell, but I'll help you if you come through the doors like an adult." This is an absolutely unacceptable way to treat service workers. First of all, she was wrong -- he did ring the bell, she just didn't hear it, and it's presumptuous to call someone out like that if being away from the window precludes you from hearing what's happening up front. Secondly, there's just no need to be that rude to someone trying to do their job. He was simply attempting to make sure the package was delivered to the right person. I understand having a bad day, but there's no excuse for belittling someone who followed the posted instructions and asked for assistance at the assistance window. The WTC may be a beautiful monument but should, it seems, reevaluate its hospitality staff.
This place is like a maze where one could get directions to exit. It has bridge walks, connected together. The views are gorgeous. Lovely place and lovely atmosphere of people.
Centrally located with plenty of parking. The people are friendly and helpful. It has a large, clean courtyard and what appears to be a second story outside deck with seating available for eating and meeting. The center itself is composed of several different buildings.
