This hotels a little dated, as far as the interior design. The location and staff more than compensate for the dated interior exterior. Inside has the look I has the look of The Love Boat! I don't know why you remind me of that show.
It looks like from the outside that it's not going to be as nice as it is inside. They have floors where you can have pets and ones you can't. The rooms feel spacious and are appointed well and clean. Affordable typically running $100 or less for most normal nights. Staff very accommodating.
The place is definitely not the most fancy, however it's been updated and is very clean and comfortable. Not to mention the staff is extremely kind and professional, in fact I have NEVER had people bend over backwards to try and help us. I had my car window smashed by someone who thought it was his ex girlfriend car and the manager gave us a free night, not to mention a few other things like parking discounts. The entire staff is so friendly, I would stay here over any place in Portland just because of the staff.
I definitely don't recommend staying here if you bring your family. Because when I checked in was ok went out to eat came back and was locked out of the lobby with no way in, was out there for 15 minutes in the down pouring rain with my wife and kid who is only 3 then I guess you can smoke in the building because the whole 5th floor smelled like weed.
Great renovation. Keeping busy. Not to much to say.
