Great place to visit! The wonderful old town is full of small streets and old colorful buildings ... Definitely a must visit in Bulgaria
Traditional part of town, restored very nicely, with Roman remains everywhere. Visited a couple of the traditional houses and theatre. All in all a nice way of spending the day (will only need a full day when you’re really going door to door for everything that’s open to tourists). Not exactly on par with the lush history of other ancient ruins (Rome, Athens, Baalbek) but still worth it nonetheless.

A must visit. 2-3 days minimum. The loveliest city in bulgaria. Great old town. And a lot of walking streets.
