Reviews from visitors:
Good co working space, perfect WiFi!
Chill vibes, some people doing calls. Not a lot of interaction between people though.
I decided last minute to extend my vacation and needed a place to work with long hours and a very strong internet connection. Nest is the best place for at least a few hours in any direction!
Location/Space: the space has everything you need - private call rooms you can book for three hours a day, an open “talking/principal” space downstairs where you can work and others can talk around you without it being too loud / disruptive, a “focus” space upstairs with complete silence, and what appears to be private office spaces that others rent out for full time personal use. They even have coffee, cookies, refrigerators, hot and cold filtered water. There are abundant outlets everywhere, tons of open desk space for standing or sitting desks, and very clean bathrooms.
Cost: Very affordable. I’ve spent more on dinner than I spent on a week’s access to nest. You can purchase access daily which gives you access during normal business hours, or weekly access which allows you to work from here at any time of day/night.
Connection/Speed: Can’t be beat most of the time. Unfortunately, I use a teaching platform that takes more bandwidth than zoom, and during M-F prime working hours approx 11-2:30 when many people are using the WiFi, I did experience slowdowns in my platform and had to discount some clients. However, for most people and for zoom calls it’s probably totally fine. Additionally, this can likely be resolved by purchasing an Ethernet cord since they have many plugins for Ethernet cords - I just wasn’t able to find one in town to buy.
Friendliness of Staff, Coworkers: unexpectedly the best part of Nest. I purchased a membership one day, came in the next day to work and Isaac greeted me by name! He was very quick to problem solve my needs and was friendly all of the time. They’re constantly cleaning/tidying the space to make it a great place to be. Other coworkers are super friendly as well.
I happily drove an hour to Nest each day from Tulum and Cancun because Nest is by far the most reliable place around. I will definitely return to Nest next time I’m in Mexico!
I give a five star even though this place is not perfect, but it has everything for a modern worker at reasonable price. First a powerful and stable internet connection. I gave three online classes of 3 hours each without any speed issues. The small private cubicle was small but I don't need more. Just I had to turn off the ventilation off during my class because it was a little noisy. It was a little hot inside the cubicle at the end but not that bad. Bathrooms are clean, staff is nice, shared working spaces quite silent. I will be back.
Wasn't for me. Too crowded, elbow to elbow with person next to you. Tried to go out on the balcony for a call because the quiet space is quiet and the loud area was too loud, but was annihilated by mosquitoes. Price is too high for the space. In other tropical coworking spaces they at least put those smoke mosquito repellents outside. They have a very small outdoor space so they do something about it.
Nice place to work. AC, two different rooms for creative and for silent working. Phone boxes and an outside area. Free watery coffee, tea, and cookies. Friendly staff. First day is free. Would recommend it
