Amazing hotel! I absolutely loved this hotel and the facilities and services it offered as well. The pool area was brilliant and had plenty of bar options available to enjoy drinks at. The pool itself was big and there was a kids swim area which meant the main pool was mainly used by adults. The options for food at lunch and dinner in this hotel was incredible. I was a massive fan of the homemade pasta station where you could pick your own sauces and spices etc. The staff here were very friendly and there is also a great shack style cocktail bar out the back of the hotel and down the promenade about a 5 minute walk i highly recommend visiting if you get the chance for a cocktail. Overall great holiday and would definitely book again.
Beer served in plastic glass at bar. Declined and went to different bar outside . Treat people like teenagers. One nice girl serving at bar and she was surprised when manager said only plastic. 7th Nov. Rooms basic. No kettle etc. Room service 20 euro. Checking out to stay in

In August 2020, I went to this hotel for 10 days. Overall I had a great experience. There were COVID-19 measures in place to ensure the safety of all people at the hotel. It was very lovely that there weren't as many guests because there was no need in the morning to rush to a sunbed. The food in general was delicious. For drinks there was a wide variety of options. They even have a specific coffee bar which has delicious dessert. It's a great place to stay with family or friends. And in general Tenerife has many places you can visit if you wish to do so.

My boyfriend and I had a very bad experience at this H10 Conquistador in Playa de las Americas. We both live in Germany and traveled to spend a week in Santa Cruz. On Saturday August 8th we decided to spend it in Playa de las Américas, but it was late for us to return to Santa Cruz, so we decided to book a hotel night at H10 Conquistador through Booking.com.
That evening, when we got to reception, they asked us for our ID or passport. Was there when we realised we left the original ID's in Santa Cruz. We hadn't planned to spend the night in Playa de las Americas and I completely forgot that in Spain hotels are required to ask all customers for ID. That's the law in Spain. We told to the people in reception that we only had original health insurance card documents, credit cards and my German press card, but that we could provide online copies of passport and ID. They told us that online copies were not valid for any of this and that they would only accept original ID. They refused to talk further and quite rudely told us that we couldn't stay there without even bothering to check our reservation in the computer.
I understand that the hotel complied with the rule that requires only accepting original ID, but the way we were treated was quite disappointing. We were told we must left reception, so we sit on a bench outside the hotel trying to find out with our mobile phones if Booking.com was going to charge us for that night or not. I entered two times again to the hotel and I had a security person behind me both times. They told me that they were not going to charge me, although later I was able to verify that they had not even checked the name of the reservation.
My boyfriend and I sat for half an hour on a bench outside the hotel trying to find another place to spend the night and while we were there, a woman from the reception desk came out to check who the reservation was for, because they told us to leave the hotel even before checking our reservation on Booking.com.
In summary. I can totally understand the hotel was just following the rules, but the way they treated us and their utter lack of help or empathy late at night was very disappointing.
EDITO aquí en español para contestar a la respuesta dada por H10, ya que parece que, o no me he explicado bien, o no se han enterado de lo que he escrito:
1.- Buscar la reserva y saber a qué cliente están dejando en la calle tiene sentido cuando el cliente quiere confirmar con Booking.com si le van a cobrar o no. Especialmente cuando Booking.com dice que hay que hablar con el hotel. H10 no ayudó con esto.
2.- No estoy "disgustado por haber olvidado los documentos". Lo que he dicho es que entiendo perfectamente las normas y por tanto sé que no es responsabilidad del hotel, pero estoy decepcionado por la absoluta falta de ayuda, consideración y empatía por parte del personal del hotel.
