The best
Personally, after four nights in this place, we found it to be extremely poor. I am not the only one - filter by stars on here and you will see hundreds of hidden one star reviews. I feel diddled by positive reviews. On arrival we had a warm coke, the décor seemed dated in many areas and the pool had seen better days. Sadly they didn't turn on the waterfall for guests but quickly put it on for the visiting couple who were possibly booking the venue for a wedding.
The breakfast was an odd layout with toasters miles fr the other food so your food was cold if had to go and fetch toast. The women anden we're having to wear the most ridiculous attire which they looked so embarrased by, and it seemed outdated and almost innapropriate to them. All of the last 8 yrs of visiting Tenerife we've wanted to stay here soooo bad... Now I am so sad to say it simply does not live up to its look I'm afraid. Oh and the bar was closed in the place too. There was the axing beach bar, but sadly they told the DJ to get off early and we were the only ones there. They used to make this amazing cocktail where they blitzed ice in the machine like a slush, and added passion fruit and lots of fruit to make this amazing special. This time long gone. You get it straight from the bottle at €9 or nothing. So sad. It had zero atmosphere. We spent most of the holiday in adjacent places instead. Don't waste your money. We will be writing a full review on trip advisor but we didn't get chance as lockdown happened and things like this were left for a while off our agenda ;-)
Arrived as part of TUI holiday, season his is only my 3rd visit to Tenerife and first time in this area. The hotel looks good on arrival, check in warm and friendly although no explanation of the facilities unlike me my last stay in Gran Tacande. We are in room 206 the room is a 9 out of 10 large with settee massive bed and fantastic shower room. I normally bring my own pillows and didn’t this time, mistake, I’ve tried 3 variations and can’t get comfortable.

The hotel doesn’t look full, plenty of room round the pool. Outside of the room and hotel entrance the hotel looks like it needs a wash and brush up there’s a bar near the beach and although there’s a happy hour from 4 to 6pm the only bar where you can enjoy this is the beach bar and they are trying to close from 5 pm?
Wanted to have lunch in your beach cafe - waited 10 minutes in a fairly quiet cafe being ignored by staff until I jumped up and down. The response was “Yes”. We ordered two beers - five minutes later were told pump not working so ordered bottled. Ten minutes later we left without getting our drinks!! We were going to order lunch but went across the road and received brilliant friendly service as soon as we sat down!! Wouldn’t recommend you.
Awful awful awful excuse for a 5* hotel. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Disgraceful, rude, unhelpful and their don’t know the first thing about customer service. I hope someone from the hotel sees this and makes the relevant changes to bring this place back to how it once was.
