Tenerife Surf Point is the best and most fun school you can imagine. I definitely recommend it in Las Americas over any of the -still very high quality! -alternatives, for the following reasons:
small groups with very attentive, I'd say personalised service (fewer students per instructor than anyone else around).
Explanations before the surfing (bear in mind that your 2h lesson will take longer than 2h!) And the review with pictures /videos are great and very useful.
Kristine is amazing both in in her explanations before and after the surfing, and also as a person: very kind and considerate. In my case, she's gone way beyond what I would expect from any instructor, and you can tell she truly cares not only for the service they give but also for the students. And she really knows how to get the best of each student and encourage us to enjoy surfing.
The instructors I've had: Sasha and Vlad were really good and also super nice. The same as Kristine they were extremely helpful and gave spot-on explanations but made sure we beginners could learn and enjoy at the same time. I also talked to David and he's so energetic and fun I'd love to have him as my instructor.
Stop reading this long review and start surfing! ;-) with Tenerife Surf Point it will be a great experience.
Amedeo and his team are very professional and great teachers. We took our first surf lessons with them, and kept going back for more. They remembered our names and faces after the second time, which showed they really care. I felt like I'll never get the pop up, but Julio helped me achieve it. :) They do beginner and advanced lessons, and even rental. I recommend to chill a bit in their cafe after surfing, the cappuccino and sandwich are on point. ;)
We found Antonio and Surf Life online and were impressed with the excellent reviews. After finishing our 15 day surf course I have to add another 5 star review, because we loved it. We had so much fun and leant a lot.
Antonio, Ale, Daniele and Dom are all amazing teachers. I love their positive attitudes! It feels like we made new friends and we will definitely be back!
What we also really liked was the fact that every lesson there was Lars the photographer who took very cool pictures and sold them for a super cheap and fair price.

Well cooked Sunday roast with all the trimmings and live music. Good quality meat and ingredients. Great friendly staff. Few things requiring attention/training, broken plates and staff interrupting a customer on the phone for a dessert order it’s a no no! Overall I would definitely recommend
Amazing hotel! I absolutely loved this hotel and the facilities and services it offered as well. The pool area was brilliant and had plenty of bar options available to enjoy drinks at. The pool itself was big and there was a kids swim area which meant the main pool was mainly used by adults. The options for food at lunch and dinner in this hotel was incredible. I was a massive fan of the homemade pasta station where you could pick your own sauces and spices etc. The staff here were very friendly and there is also a great shack style cocktail bar out the back of the hotel and down the promenade about a 5 minute walk i highly recommend visiting if you get the chance for a cocktail. Overall great holiday and would definitely book again.
Hidden Italian Gem in Playa Las Vistas. Went there for the lunch menu and it was great. I felt like home. Alessandro and Giovanni were incredible hosts. My girlfriend and I will come back for sure. Make sure you visit if you are in the area.Daje!
Excellent hotel. Great food especially buffet dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere. So good I never left the hotel for 3 days of my stay. Very clean. I recommend the hotel exclusive option. Book direct with the hotel website for best price
An oasis, a quiet bubble, a tranquil retreat. Staff are always happy, smiling and willing to help with anything. Food is outstanding. Could not find any food outside that was better than the hotel food. Pool was hardly used although warm. Outside spaces and gardens immaculately kept and quiet with no shortage of sunbeds. Nearly everything the hotel did was better than my expectations even for a 5 star. All of the guest we spoke to had been many times before. We never saw more than about 20 other guests at one time. We will be staying again and no doubt and become regulars. Small point, for ladies who like to sit down to do their hair and make up for the evening there was no dressing table/chair/mirror in our ground floor room. Good lighting and mirrors in the bathroom though if you don't mind standing. In summary though overall "did not want to come home, could just live here forever".
Best location by far. Walking distance to all of the best restaurants and bars. Direct access to sandy beach. Breakfast is great with so much to choose from. Piano player in the lobby is nice and relaxing. Highly recommend and returning in December 2021
Amazing hotel. Service is incredible, absolutely amazing. Staff is polite and very welcoming. The rooms are cleaned almost everyday if not every day. The outdoor section is breath taking. It feels like you're in a jungle. Full of palm trees, banana trees and coconut trees. There is an enormous pool in the middle of the complex. It's difficult to describe how big the pool was. The size of 3 average sized pools. The hotel is right next to the beach, 5 minute walk from the most popular beaches. There are shops all around and even an underground shopping park. Just amazing.
This was probably the best hard rock cafe I have been to. I have to admit I am not a big fan of Hard Rock Cafes but this one was definitely my favourite. What i loved the most was the big outdoor seating area where you could eat your food in the sunshine. The menu was decent but the cocktail menu was great and the Oreo cheesecake for dessert was amazing. Inside the cafe was lovely and the memorabilia they had from famous artists was great. I thought the staff were very attentive but like all Hard Rock Cafes they are pricey and so I thought what we paid for our food and drinks was expensive. Overall was worth the visit.
This place was a lovely find. There are a lot of places to eat around this area and we still hadn't decided where we would be going until right before we went out for the evening. I'm so glad we chose Friends. The staff are really friendly, helpful and attentive. The setting and atmosphere are lovely and most importantly the food is incredible.
I ordered the grilled sea bass and my partner had a steak from the special menu. We had canarian potatoes to accompany and ordered two items from the tapas menu. The food was cooked to perfection and we didn't have to wait very long. When the bill came we were both surprised as we expected to pay so much more for such quality.
We'll definitely be going again and would highly recommend it. The photo is of the view from our table out over the beach.
