Reviews from visitors:
Always great to visit The Barnes. We purchased tickets for the Elijah Pierce exhibit in November and then everything was shut down. Fortunately the show was extended. Rescheduling our tickets was very easy. Barnes staff is very pleasant. They want you to have a good experience.
I’ve been to many art galleries and museums domestically. The Barnes is listed amongst the best I’ve visited. Even with covid accommodations it was a terrific experience. The digital assist available to phone users was so great. The interface was easy and made the experience unbelievable. The building itself is a real treasure architecturally.
This is a great museum. I enjoyed the Elijah Pierce exhibit and the Barnes collection, in general. All of the Impressionist artwork was great. I also liked the other artifacts that he collected (African, Native American, Ancient Egypt and other cultures). Very impressive and interesting.
I really enjoyed the museum and the Elijah Pierce special exhibit. There were a few places to sit outside and relax. Definitely consider a patron membership. It's worth the cost. The discounts on tickets, etc means that you can go twice in a year and at least break even for 2, make out better than that for 3+.
Beautiful building and exhibits. Not really sure if it was worth $25 though. The wait in line is absolutely horrible due to COVID safety protocols, so be prepared to be patient. Very patient. Staff was friendly and easily accessible.
