1 Philadelphia Museum of Art

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is famous for more than its abundant artwork inside; it is also famous for its famed entry staircase which was featured in the Rocky movie series. This historic building is about an hour from my hometown and it is a frequent place to visit when in the city of Philadelphia. As shown in the pictures, there are many stairs and steps both inside and outside of the building, however there are ramps outside and elevators inside to allow for greater accessibility to the attractions. The museum has very wide walkways inside and outside the building (where there is a beautiful garden and view) even before the pandemic which allows for greater space to maneuver. Additionally, the last time that I went to the museum, I recall that there was an option to either download an app on your phone or to get a headset from the front desk that would audibly describe the paintings and sculptures along with read aloud the small blurbs of background information provided next to the art pieces. Overall, this is an accessible and fun location to relax and enjoy art for anyone and everyone.
2 Indy Hall

Indyhall is an amazing co-working space, everyone is so friendly, you can either get a membership or you can pay to work there for the day.
It's a really cool space, a cafe type vibe minus the food service(however coffee is included with you membership even if you're just there for the day.)
There is a lot of space, desks and couches to work from. On top of that everyone is always very kind, polite and respectful. IH is always full of very smart talented people, from all sorts of different local communities, who are great to have conversations with and learn from.

this is a great place for creative minds to gather. Great rates for the rooms and staff is very friendly and open-minded. The hours are open as long as the fashion district is open. And despite the fact that they got shut down for a few months when they first opened up last September because of covet, they're making a pretty great comeback.

Always great to visit The Barnes. We purchased tickets for the Elijah Pierce exhibit in November and then everything was shut down. Fortunately the show was extended. Rescheduling our tickets was very easy. Barnes staff is very pleasant. They want you to have a good experience.

The Kismet co-working space in Chestnut Hill was amazing. I loved that there were different environments you could choose to work in. Cozier spots with dim lighting, the super bright kitchen area, to couch seating Kismet truly has it all. Not to mention outlets GALORE! I love all the free snacks and the delicious coffee from High Point. One thing that sets Kismet apart from other co-working spaces in the attention to architecture and design.

The staff here is amazing. The space is large, open, and bright. Owner is friendly and charismatic. Perfect place for someone looking for a less corporate, big brand feel. There are many books and magazines around the office. There is free coffee, snacks, and beer. They also occasionally host events that are fun and informative in a variety of fields. Overall, love everything about this place if you’re looking for a coworking space I recommend stopping by, they have people at the front desk every day until 5 and they are very accommodating to people interested in seeing the space.

this place was my first Philadelphia office. I have spent a lot of time here. Mixing it up with other entrepreneurs. Getting cups of coffee and have a long conversations. This is a center for people running small businesses filling in offices and getting things done. Since they came to Philadelphia this place has been a very cool business event space.
13 The Yard - Philadelphia Coworking Office Space

The Yard is a very welcoming co-working environment with a variety of spaces to get inspired in. They offer some great free perks such as coffee, tea from one of their tenants, drinks, and WiFi to list a few. The space really enhances collaboration but also allows for a more private work space if needed. A true highlight is the roof deck on level 5 complete with sweeping views of Philadelphia.
The staff are welcoming and will bend over backwards to ensure that all of your needs are met (within reason). For example, I needed to print something out in order to be fully prepared for a training I was in town to conduct. When I asked where the nearest kinkos was, Dan, the manager, said don't be silly, I'll print out what you need here! What a life saver.
Overall this is a great space to pop into if you need work room for a day, a week, or on a more permanent basis. Highly recommend! Thank you for your hospitality new friends.

Nexus has been a great space for me to meet some really special people. I was personally looking for a place to feel more connected during the week, as I work remotely full-time. The co-working space has phone booths available for taking calls and really nice indoor and outdoor space.

I'm coming up on 1 year at this space, and I love it. Design-wise: I love the bright white walls and electric blue staircase. Clients are always impressed when they walk in for the first time. I feel energized every time I walk in, too. The big, open hallways and common spaces are refreshing and unique in a city full of more cramped workspaces. I've hosted 2 big parties in the event space for my company this past year, and each was a huge success. Operations-wise: Jessica and Sara are a dynamic duo of community managers that make running a business feel so "chill." They go above and beyond for not just me but for every member and guest in the entire 4 floors of space. I love them and can't say a single bad thing about them. I feel so welcome every time I'm there. I truly give them credit for helping me get my business off the ground. Thanks for a wonderful year, you two.

A perfect spot for a small gathering (~20). Laura was super helpful and accommodating. A great location and an easy, low-key option for an event in the heart of it all. Thanks Laura!
