I take a walk around here every single night. It's peaceful and quiet and just the right amount of lights at night to make quite the scenery. Also, the security team that runs around make you feel safe at night too. They have done so much to gateway now, I feel as if I see something I didn't before every night.
Fun for adults and kids great mix of things to do.
It's ok. With City Creek open just a couple blocks away, gateway seems to have lost some attention. There are not very many quality shops for the casual shopper. Occasionally they will have an event going on there that tries to attract attention.
Negative side there seems to be several loiters and doesn't feel safe at times.
The Gateway is slowly becoming more of a thing, as it adds new places and some new decor, it's coming along nicely. Also, check out HallPass, they have some great food and drink choices! I'm glad I finally decided to check it out! It would go great with a movie and date night!
I really enjoy the gateway. Despite all the covid craziness, it feels like a place you can go and hang out with friends or family. They have restaurants, art galleries, bars, cafes, fire pits and comfortable outdoor seating and a theater. It's a nice atmosphere and they have window displays that are made by local artists.
One of my favorite things about The Gateway is that they host events like goat yoga or parking lot movies. There really is something for everyone.
