My experience with Solo Affitti 2 was good. Finding a place to live in Italy is nearly impossible for foreigns that don't have a contratto a tempo indeterminato but Mr. Schibuola took that in consideration and help us get a flat under his listing.
I think small cities like Padova have its own ways to work, people are not in a rush all the time and as a foreign I have to get used to that.
I contacted this agency for information on a rental apartment. Once the appointment has been made, the owner shows up late, we hurriedly see the apartment while he remains on the sidelines and the owner does the honors. After seeing the apartment, I insistently ask for information about the owner since I had had problems with previous tenants. I am reassured that there are no problems and despite my insistence, specifying my situation, I am repeatedly reassured.
I am asked for a deposit of one month IN ADVANCE, to leave CASH, so in an already precarious situation I had to go to the office in the center to leave the loot and with the promise that he would make an appointment with the owner.
An abundant week later it is finally possible to make an appointment, but the owner immediately begins to be hesitant both because I would have signed the employment contract within a week, and because my parents (much more than solid guarantors) were in the south asserting that "What do I know if these people disappear?". While the lady threw mud on my family (much more than wealthy and respectable) and on my person, the owner did not say a word or propose solutions to appease the owner while my father and I were there to try to offer all kinds of guarantees. .
Moral of the story? The owner left as the boor she is, the owner (who until then had been silent) tried to offer me other apartments in unspeakable positions, while I lost 2 weeks in which I could see other apartments, the money to reach the headquarters for two useless appointments and the desire to have to deal with similar incompetents.
PS: In response to the owner, I am delighted that she does not remember me, unfortunately I do remember her. And no, I wasn't the wrong agency, I simply wrote years after the event, stupidly I should have done it much earlier. Maybe he should learn to get to his appointments on time rather than google answering since I wasn't the only one dealing with his embarrassing delay.
I am very satisfied and grateful for the courtesy, politeness, reliability, professionalism and punctuality with which I was assisted by Dr. Schibuola in choosing the apartment I live in now.
I quote all the things the other negative reviews say. Inefficiency, he forgets about appointments, never on time if I came back rather than renting an apartment from him and giving him money I would stay under a bridge.
