I have recently purchased a beautiful Italian villa through Oikos Immobiliare as a retirement home for myself and my wife. Property purchase in Italy is not as straightforward as it is in the UK and Diego Moretto gave us really good support right from the beginning. Starting with his patient questioning to understand what we were looking for, accompanying us on numerous viewings and keeping in contact over the 20 months it took us to find just the right property, all in English. The support did not end there, Diego helped to steer us through the very beaurocratic purchase process, patiently answering all our questions and liaising with the vendor to help maintain the confidence that each party must have with each other in a transaction of this type that takes several months to complete. Now that we have actually moved into our lovely new Italian villa, Diego and his brother Flavio continue to help us as we get to grips with utility contracts etc, and I have no hesitation in recommending their services to anybody considering buying a property in this beautiful and peaceful province of Italy.

Many agencies in Puglia don't respond quickly until you're there. We looked for many months on line before we arrived last April. The most responsive and informative was Oikos, so when we got to the area around Bari, our first stop was with Diego Moretto. He was informative, generous with his time, and a super nice person. In addition, he speaks perfect english. He was able to absorb what kind of place we might like and showed us a variety of homes that were wonderful and interesting. He knows everyone in his area, and is socially interactive with the expat community. In the end, we decided that our needs would be better suited nearer the friends we already knew farther south; but I wouldn't hesitate a minute to recommend Diego and his firm to anyone looking in the area he covers.
