Location, location, location One of my favorite hotels during our drive across Northern Italy. The hotel is fantastic when it comes to comfort, location, and a touch of elegance. I think our only tricky part was parking, which once we got there was taken care of quickly. The staff of the hotel took great care of us, and our room was very comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit in Trieste from the waterfront, up to the castle, and to go shopping. I really enjoyed our stay at the DoubleTree.
Great Hotel with excellent customer service. Spent 5 nights at this property while on business from 1/24 to 1/29. Perfectly situated in Trieste with an abundance of restaurants, cages, and shopping if you like.
Fantastic hotel and tremendous staff! Super location directly in the city with anything you need just steps away. Fantastic hotel, newly renovated building with beautiful and cozy rooms. Very comfy bed (like in any Hilton property), good wifi, big rain shower in the bath. But what makes this hotel as fantastic as it is, is the staff. Helpful, friendly and special thanks to Francesco for the ice tea Trieste is beautiful and nice and always worth a visit!
We received a cookie as a welcome present Room and the shower were very spacious, High ceiling in the room which was amazing. Hotel has an eye for details. Fair pricing.
Perfect location, marvelous palace, exquisite room, delicious food and extraordinary staff. Only cons would be the lack of parking by the premises, but everything else is so overwhelmingly fantastic that I haven’t missed that too much. Will definitely be my first choice when visiting beautiful Trieste.
