If you enjoy visiting or even living in the French Quarter, thank VCPORA, a 501C3 organization. VCPORA was founded over 75 years ago, back when the French Quarter was the slums and was being demolished, bit by bit. So it has arguably been the most successful nonprofit organization in Louisiana. Today the French Quarter is threatened by over-tourism and over-commercialization so VCPORA still needs your support. It is an amazing organization.

Rich scum who want to drive out all the workers from the French Quarter, or at least make them subservient bootlickers willing to accept minimum wage (or less!) before scurrying away to live in homes far, far away from their pristine neighborhood. Mostly consisting of people who aren't from here and need to shut up.
