Reviews from visitors:
Fort Houston is first and foremost, a maker space. It's a good spot for people that make to start a business or just make things in their spare time. My bf is a woodworker and rents space there. This allows him to use the heavy shop machinery associated with woodworking. That being said, there is a guy that produces music there, and a graffiti artist, to name a few other types of makers.
But there is also a spot here called the Garage Door where a couple of the members sell local craft beer and products made by local artists and craftspeople. During the eclipse, they held a Solarium exhibit which showed graphic footage of the surface of the sun. Really cool! The guys who run this space are super nice and their main goal is to connect people with local makers. It's a good spot to buy gifts made by local artists. So many good vibes and beautiful pieces!
Been a member for a while. This is where I get therapy, and get work done. Awesome atmosphere and members range in skill levels. All are willing to share what they’ve learned. Also an active and proud member of the local art and maker community around town.
working here with my friends, really good place
Cool co-sharing work space. Sometimes they have art shows for the art walk
This place is amazing and there is always people to bounce ideas or questions off of.
