Clean, practical, close to the train station.
Good descent stay and nice helpful and welcoming staff.
Good value, well standardized chain that refines it's offerings in response to the changing demands of its guests. For example it now has strong WiFi and simple procedure for connection in many of its hotels. Nantes Centre Gare is an excellent example with efficient friendly staff. My main criticisms centre around them being too international...do we really need 60s American rock and folk piped in the dining area?
This is a basic but clean and comfortable hotel, well located for the old town and many of the major sights such as the chateau and cathedral. Whilst by no means swanky, it was excellent value for money at under £50 a night for a double room. It has a small bar, and a decent quality breakfast with a reasonable variety of options.
We stayed 2 nights in this hotel.
Pros:
1. The stuff was very polite and helpful
2. The room was clean, though had some smell of old.
3. The check in and out was very quick.
Cons:
1. The location is central, though expect additional 10 minutes of walk to get to the real center.
2. 13€ for parking for a day is relatively expensive.
3. The room is pretty small.
4. The towels were small.
5. No refrigerator and a safe box (as expected).
1 star, but you deserve less. I got harassed by the staff early in the morning asking for my room number, not giving me time to answer and asking my surname in a really bad way. Bad service. At our arrival the receptionist asked "are you Italian? Here is the police paper to compile. “ learn how to treat human beings
