Just finished a road trip round Europe. Stayed in many Ibis hotels on the way. This one stood out from the rest. We arrived late and consequently could not access the parking because check-in was closed (not mentioned before our arrival or on the website). And Check-in closes early! Breakfast also closes earlier than other Ibis hotels we have stayed in (we nearly missed it). Finally, they have a different attitude to dogs. They are allowed in the hotel, but not in the breakfast area. I choose Ibis for many reasons and till this time, I have never been disappointed. One of the reasons, is that I have known what to expect. This stay was a series of (unpleasant) surprises. The accommodation itself was fine, but the staff appeared stressed, were less helpful and engaging and they too were 'inconsistent with' what I have come to expect from Ibis. Won't be picking this one again!
I'd like to cancel my reservation because of the French travel restrictions, but it wasn't even possible to get in contact with the hotel.
I am very impressed by the service of this hotel!! Expedia did a mistake and i was charged for a night even though it was never confirmed. I am so grateful to Ibis Hotel staff for helping solving the problem, even though it was not their responsabilty. I totally recomand it!! they have been so kind and helpful!!
