Poor service and it doesn’t seem Managment have learnt from previous poor reviews with the same problems recurring. I expect to get the same repetitive reply message from management thanking us for the feed back with the assurance that they will learn from it as seen in reviews months back. We arrived at 11am to drop the bags of and pay for the room and was told to return at 3pm. Arrived back at 3pm to be told that the room would be another hour. The response from the front desk was as if they had no interest in fixing the problem. I would give the place a miss next time.
The location is pretty good, very close to monte carlo. I did not like how we arrived at about 3 but check in is 3-5 so we couldn’t get our room till about 4:30 because it was not ready yet. The hotel itself is pretty worn and dated and needs some work. Also, there was an additional tax that had to be payed upon arrival that we did not know about.
Antisanitary conditions, the hotel is infested with mould and mildew, the air is heavy with mould in both the rooms and corridors, the smell is everywhere, it's hard to breathe. In my room 415 the black mould surrounded the aircontitioning vent. Reception was surprised to be informed of it! The room they moved me to (301) had less black mould on the wall around the air con, but had flies, I killed over 20 blood-sucking flies in the first evening, but we kept waking up with more swollen giant itching bites on us. Children suffer the most. And the toilet flushed so hard, it showered you and your clothes, so you must close the lid to flush, from a distance as the water still sprays you even with the lid closed, then you re-open and clean the lid and the seat. Awful.
The staff were terrific, the place seems to be in need of some work. There were cracked floor tiles in our apartment, the bed was as solid as a rock, extremely uncomfortable. The building is in a great place, only a 10 minute walk to the casino.
Basic facilities. Pictures in advertisement look better than actual. Street facing rooms only.
