I went for a free day @ Shift back in June and have been there ever since. It is a surprisingly attractive space where I feel incredibly productive. I truly can't imagine that folks would prefer to be at home after they experience working here instead. Like me, take advantage of a free day and see if its right for you.
SHIFT is the perfect place to work local! I am a remote worker with most of my team working in Chicago. I am fortunate to have the option to work from home. But my house can be distracting and it is hard to draw the line between work and house chores, so I go to SHIFT. I am more productive there. The atmosphere is perfect and the coworkers are all friendly!
After more than a decade of working from home, isolated, I was thrilled to discover co-working and The Shift! Co-working allowed me to be around people but still be in a professional work environment. I've made some invaluable professional relationships, met new people, exposed to some innovative ideas that have helped me and more. Working out of the house again helped reinvigorate me in all the right ways.
Oil Drop Distillery loves having an office at Shift. Erin our awesome coworker makes sure we have everything we need. This is a great way to have your own space at an affordable rate and network too.
Finally a place in Crystal Lake for mobile professionals and remote working in Crystal Lake. Initial impression is it is a spacious and comfortable working space with good chairs and desktops. The space is done up with a modern look and feel. Hopefully will be able to utilize the space more in the future.
