Kanon hotel
Well located hotel with discreet design and good food. The problem remains the organization and application of the rules that go to the single advantage of the hotelier who has no diplomatic skills.
I hope in recent years, I was in 2012, the attitude has become more European with hospitality of tourists and not just a resource to be squeezed.
I returned to this hotel, the third time in five years, and found the convenience of the location, the large fresh spaces, the large and clean rooms, the courteous and professional staff. Having said that, I must find the poor choice of management in the restaurant service. While the distribution of appetizers and fruit / desserts (previously accessible as a buffet) is necessarily and understandably carried out by the (scarce) staff, it is absolutely not acceptable that table service has been completely eliminated. The customer must get up and queue in front of the distribution point, from time to time, for each course, complete with a mask and spacing. A madness. Last but not least, to add sadness to the whole, the tables are set with a simple sheet of paper 30x40 and the cutlery wrapped together with a napkin.
After the first "dinner" I asked that the type of stay be changed from "half board" to just "breakfast". The reception was very courteous and deducted the related amount from my expenses. Too bad, I hope to return in better times.
