This cafe is absolutely PERfect for coming to work, study, or just simply relax with an amazing café cortado. They have a variety of drink options and always are so welcoming to all. We have our daily Spanish class held here in one of their many group study spaces. It is such a useful place for this type of thing: meetings, events, and more! If you’re in the malasaña/la universidad area...you must stop by or you’re missing out!
I've been working here for almost a year -- really, really lovely environment and a very welcoming group of people. Working from home is fun for a while but eventually you long to share a space with others, and Espiritu23 is perfect: buzzy but cosy, busy when you want it to be and calm when you need to focus. Great location and café too! I bring everyone who visits me here to work for a day or so and would encourage anyone in the area to do the same, whatever language you speak and whatever project you're working on!
Been working here for three years already and I love it. It has a cozy, friendly environment, good internet, and a brand new cafeteria.
