Wonderful staff at Lviv tourist information. Special appreciation for Ira who really helped us with a complicated onward travel problem. She really went way back beyond what we could have reasonably expected and did so with such unassuming kindness. She really enhanced our enjoyment of Lviv.

I always direct people to this place when they come to Lviv for the first time, because it's just a no-brainer - you can get a free map, free list of events, and can talk with the staff about cool places to go and visit while you are here.
My only complaint about this spot is that sometimes they don't have anyone here that speaks English - I've had guests come back to me and say they couldn't ask any questions to the staff because nobody understood them. 95% of the time when I've went there the staff has spoken English (and Russian, Ukrainian, and usually Polish from what I can tell), but I guess sometimes they get caught without an English speaker. Regardless, the material they offer is in English so you don't really need to talk to them if you don't want to - that being said, it seems a bit silly to not have someone on staff 24/7 who speaks English if you are working in a tourist center. Either way, this place is still my first recommendation for guests who visit the city.
