Reviews from visitors:
Lots of food
Staff are doing their best in a difficult climate
This station opened in 1864 and has 6 platforms serving Dover and many south eastern towns.
It was bombed in World War II several times and has been renovated several times since then.
It has it's own Underground station (Northern and Bakerloo lines) and is very close to the Embankment ferry pier stop and Underground station.
Depending on what entrance you choose (either to go to the Underground or National Rail) you will either "smell" it or be greeted with lots of idle staff at the entrance. The first stop on the trains from here is usually London Waterloo East then London Bridge. There is a Marks and Spencer at the front of the stations and a Burger King near platform 1. There also other shops and food places inside.
Directions are very simple, station is kind of very small and can be super crowded in rush hours. Architectural beauty of this building is very admirable from exterior.
