A really nice place to visit a large park which was once a Royal hunting park Don't miss the palm house. A magnificent glass dome for tropical plants aplenty. Surround by statues including the original Peter Pan statue. And the Fairy Glen with a small waterfall and streams.
And a walk around the large lake complete with bandstand and cafe. Enjoy.
What a beautifully maintained park. Lovely lake, ponds, gardens...so lovely to walk around and enjoy the outside. Plenty of space for picnics and for the family and the kids to play. Parking available around the park. Great for dogs and also good for jogging. Beautiful all year round
This Park is in an interesting area, is stuffed full of monumental architecture & beautiful views. Has a great cafe & beautiful glass House! Great walks, lakes & gardens. All v interesting & so much to explore.
My favourite in liverpool. Love everything about this place. Beautiful pond, lake. Lots of wildlife, the conservatory is beautiful, garden inside, coffee shop, lovely ice cream. Its huge!! Play area for kids is fantastic. Sometimes great events here. Absolutely love it. Love the fairy glen...ghost story about that place an not far from other tourist attractions. Penny lane, strawberry fields, lark lane etc
Amazing space in the south of the city. Large open space with many walking paths, lakes and areas of grass for families to use as play areas. The Victorian Palm House is stunning and available for events. There is food and drink available in the park but Lark Lane is also a short walk away for those that fancy a greater selection. Note there are no toilet facilities open.
