Reviews from visitors:
Great friendly place for a drink before and after visiting local theaters. Jacqui the boss is amazing and the barman who looked after us, Chris, super friendly and quick to serve. Very reasonable prices, large Bombay, tonic and glass of coke for the driver (me) under £7! Highly recommend.
Great place
I went there after being told it was friendly and welcoming, but the one barman reluctantly left his conversation to serve me after a minute or two. He never filled out a full pint, then was annoyed when I asked him politely to top it up. It may be good if you are a regular or there for some event, but don't go on quiet nights expecting to be treated as if your custom matters more than that of the regulars.
So friendly,
staff were very welcoming and a great pint of Guinness made us feel right at home I will definitely be back
Loved the Colin Jones photos and other randomness on the walls. Seems a decent bar but jeesh, it's lit like a freezer centre :) the lighting is so cold and clinical, it'd be so much nicer with warmer lighting. Could use some proper beer :)
