Reviews from visitors:
I’m goona update the condition in Kevin’s reviewA month ago the management team said the remain construction work will be finished in next few weeks. However, today is 17th Feb and nothing changes! So how long does the “few weeks” exactly mean??? I still be weaken up by construction noise every morning at 9am, The big noise keeps up all day until dark. Definitely here is not a place people can stay.
However I have to say the reception staffs are really kind and friendly, love them
It’s beautiful and neat
Not the one for writing reviews but ive had enough now ,when signed up in February 2019 was not told there would be construction in September, accommodation claims they did not know until August and this was communicated over by email to us, it was a one line sentence saying ‘please note there are some building work upon arrival’,thats it. When complained to the manager in September was told it would be done hopefully by end of 2019 and a follow up email in November saying we are hoping to be construction free in ‘upcoming weeks’ it is now mid January and still going check the image. Was given a compensation of £100, like seriously? Im paying £600 a month and i got £100 compensation in my bank shows how good the landlord is, surely we deserve some weekly discount on the rent. As a student you need some sleep in the morning or you need to revise for exams in peace, well forget about it in this place the construction you NEED to be up at 8 no matter what because the construction is very loud, i do not know a single student paying full rent if landlord has caused them to live in construction . This accommodation is mainly international students which was not explained upon booking not ideal for a first year student who needs to meet new people and have more social life with rest of the accommodation. This has been the worst 5 months of my life. They built a whole hospital in china in 10 days taking these lot over a year to built whats already there. If your thinking of coming here think twice the landlord just wants its money and does not care about student comfort. consider unite students alot better landlords around Liverpool who care about your voice and opinions more.
*****Update
it is now coming towards the ends of the year and construction is still there this is the same accommodation that said we are going to be construction free in November.......
Think twice about coming here !!!
Wow such an amazing building, I couldn't ask for more!!! Here all residents can have lots of fun and it's so easy to get in touch with the staff as they are very friendly. The building itself is great, equipped with a gym, a cinema, a completely safe bike storage room and a common room area where I personally made a lot of friends during leisure time!! My room is what I call a perfect standard private studio flat for a student, elegant with style and space. In addition not only it's close to the university, city centre and lots of stores and pubs, but also downstairs the building has also a bristo restaurant and two coffee stores. Just incredible, the best choice I made so far for accommodation here in Liverpool!!!
Happy new year and perfect experience in Host! Nice room and I will keep living in Host in next semester.
