Reviews from visitors:
Great cowork spot. I discovered them via a recommendation from a friend. It's on the main road in Lapa right next to a nice park. The wifi is bonkers fast and it's a big, open, creative space. I had the cheesecake and it was top notch. Only Achilles heel is they don't have a great option for making calls if you spend a lot of time on the phone. They're on Croissant so easy to test out if you have that app.
Everyone seems nice but a co-working without any phone booths is problematic, especially given that it’s a single room with ~40+ seats. Not quite sure how people manage this.
The food however was amazing.
Nice coworking/bar. Really cool atmosphere, spacious and good WiFi. Have some food while you are there or a drink from the bar after you finished workinggood vice and place to meet new people..
Terrific Open Space for a Solid Day’s Work
Unobvious Lab stays true to it’s name. It’s not obvious upon entry what the place even is... It seems like just a basic bar, but then it turns out to be so much more! A coworking space, bar, and place to hangout with friends.
As with all my reviews of various coworking spaces, I wanted to share here the most important features essential to all coworkers:
Chairs: The chairs were comfy and easy to work sitting down for a few hours. They are not adjustable office chairs, (which I’m preferable to) but are still quite comfortable for at least a few hour period. Don’t expect full range of motion and perfect lumbar support with these.
Vibe: The vibe is awesome. I’ve never had a beer while coworking before, but I gave it a shot. It was awesome, and I was able to dive right into my tasks without second guessing myself. I won’t make a habit out of it, but it was a nice change. Their on tap beer is delicious.
Wifi: Great upload and download speeds and no problem using it. I don’t like having to get a code each time I go (the network resets and kicks you off every 24 hours), but this might be a feature for Croissant users?
Access: Open till 8, and checking in was a piece of cake.
Community: The first time I was here was because of a planned board game night, so this space is friendly to activities.
Overall, a great place to be for a few hours of coworking, and I can’t wait to come back to play more board games!
Great Location, nice people!
