Meanwhile in Leipzig since 2014 and now a total of 18 (?) Workshops, or areas on approx. 600 square meters under one roof. Easily accessible - at ground level and I would say almost barrier-free - at the Coppiplatz in the parking garage behind the gas station. Good to know - everyone works there on a voluntary basis as members of the Makerspace, the art tanker is right next door, and you can get an impression of it at the monthly organizational meetings (currently via GoogleMeetup). The whole thing is a project of the socio-cultural Villa Leipzig.
It is also possible for non-members to offer courses and workshops there.
Cool place to work. Whether wood, concrete or metal - no problem. Free work with professionals or workshops under guidance. Very nice team! Absolute tip!
We were spontaneously in the makerspace today to have a look around. Immediately someone was found for a little tour. The makerspace is very large, there are many different areas (photo, sewing, concrete, FabLab, wood workshop, forge ...) and the membership model also sounded very reasonable.
Various possibilities for the implementation of projects. Machine equipment and know-how are good.
