My wife and I enjoyed shopping here greatly. The staff is extremely pleasant and very helpful. There were many things available that were made in Japan which added to easily finding gifts to take home for friends and family. My only complaint was that, like all public places in Japan I went to, I felt that it was a little warm and was not comfortable after a spending just a few minutes inside. Other than that, a highly enjoyable experience.
Very convenient location, right in the middle of town with most places of interest within or near walking distance though you might need to take public transportation to places further and the bus stop is in front of the hotel.
Local foods and fast food restaurants are around too.
Room size is alright for two persons as we're out most of the day but the bathroom/toilet is a bit small and cramped.
We can overlook that as the friendly staff and convenient location makes up for it.
I will definitely go back for my next visit.
Excellent place to work and rest! Located just a10 min taxi ride from Kyoto station. Futon was thick and comfy. Shower is strong and hot. Everything's new.
Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in. This hotel is summed up by the word convenience. Clean, washing machine and dryer in the room, great location, quiet, extremely reasonable price. Don't get an overpriced hotel, stay here and spend all your money on the overpriced but amazing donuts in the shop below.
I used the coworking space for studying for qualification. The facilities were very clean and warm and made me feel good. All the staff are very kind and you can see it right next to you, so I was able to leave it at ease.
It was perfect for me as I was hoping that I would like to have time to concentrate and concentrate, although it is not enough for childcare. I would like to see more facilities like this spread.

Immediately from Keihan / Kiyomizu-Gojo Station. It is within walking distance from Shijo Kawaramachi, and is conveniently located near the downtown area but in a quiet location. This guest house is a renovated former Yukaku that is over 100 years old and is located in the corner where "Gojo Paradise" was located. It is a two-story building with guest rooms on the second and first floors with a coworking space that guests can use.
Lunch and dinner can be done at the attached "Sin -Dining & Bar-", and there is a convenience store and a 24-hour supermarket nearby, so you don't have to worry about shopping.
We used a twin room for 2 people for 2 days and 1 night.
The interior of the guest rooms has been renovated, but the floor plan remains the same. Some of them have been around for a long time, and you can feel the good old atmosphere of the former Yukaku.
There are single, double, twin (including deluxe twin) and dormitory, and you can use them according to your needs.
The design and arrangement of the rooms seem to be different, and the room of "South 4" used has a high ceiling and a skylight, giving a feeling of openness. I visited the Millennials in Jan 2020 for solo trip and stayed about 3 nights. This capsule hotel locates in a very convenient place. It fulfilled my dream that I wanted to stay in a place with modern style, friendly staff and security. It's different from traditional capsule hotel, you could enjoy large space and high tech!
I couldn't describe this hotel merely by words, just go there and experience by yourself. Will definitely go back after the pandemic!
This is a great coworking space and hostel. I didn’t stay at the hostel but the coworking space has free happy hour every day from 5:30 to 6:30 for members and guests. The WiFi is great and the space is very clean. The kitchen here is clutch and has nice cutlery. I would highly recommend coming here if you’re staying in Kyoto. It’s close to everything good to explore the city.
We stumbled across this coffee shop while exploring the less touristy areas of Kyoto. Such a gem - it is a creator's space full of designers and students working on projects. We were just enjoying some coffee, and appreciated all of the comfy seating they had. I wish we discovered this place sooner during our stay! Highly recommend. Thanks!
The location is superbly located and the price to quality ratio is really good. The train station is easy to reach. Good transport links to downtown or to old town.
Next to the place is a small local spa and opposite a small bar with a really good atmosphere.
