Reviews from visitors:
Its a hidden gem. Tastiest curry I had in Japan. The Curry is made of coconut which reminded me home(South India). It had lot of flavours. Must try if you are near the place.
The restaurant brings colour to the once shady side of town. A meticulous and fair priced menu compliments the cozy atmosphere which is created. Would recommend the lunch menu if you're in the neighbourhood!

Great place where you can work remotely. You can eat lunch at the restaurant which is connected to the working space.
Cozy place
Immediately from Keihan / Kiyomizu-Gojo Station. It is within walking distance from Shijo Kawaramachi, and is conveniently located near the downtown area but in a quiet location. It is in a convenient location as it is close to Kyoto Station. This guest house is a renovated former Yukaku that is over 100 years old and is located in the corner where "Gojo Paradise" was located. It is a two-story building with guest rooms on the second and first floors with a coworking space that guests can use.
Lunch and dinner can be done at the attached "Sin -Dining & Bar-", and there is a convenience store and a 24-hour supermarket nearby, so you don't have to worry about shopping.
We used a twin room for 2 people for 2 days and 1 night.
The interior of the guest rooms has been renovated, but the floor plan remains the same. Some of them have been around for a long time, and you can feel the good old atmosphere of the former Yukaku.
There are single, double, twin (including deluxe twin) and dormitory, and you can use them according to your needs.
The design and arrangement of the rooms seem to be different, and the room of "South 4" used has a high ceiling and a skylight, giving a feeling of openness. It's a simple room with only a bed, but it's narrow, but the retro lights are hung on the wall color unified in gray, and it settled down in a chic atmosphere. The light is operated with a remote control, but it is difficult to understand how to operate it with a simple remote control. Please check the details in the email you receive after check-in (you can access the guest-only page during your stay, and there are services such as information on the hall and listening to music, so check early. Let's keep it).
When working on writing, it is advisable to use a coworking space.
Nintendo is the origin of the Hanafuda on the room key. Currently, Nintendo has a global share as a game maker, but in fact Gojo Rakuen was founded and started from Hanafuda. It seems that the Hanafuda design was adopted to use the culture of Gojo Paradise as a motif.
The coworking space is freely available to guests 24 hours a day during their stay. Even when you are not staying, you can use it on an hourly or monthly basis.
There are counters for one person and a large table for groups. The kitchen is also available, and coffee and tea are free drinks, as well as baked goods.
Every table has an outlet so you can work while charging. Equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, it is convenient because you can browse videos quickly.
"UNKNOWN KYOTO" can be used not only for sightseeing but also for staying at work without stress.
Why don't you spend your time in Kyoto, which doesn't seem to be Kyoto, while feeling a little when there was a Yukaku?
