Very nice Coffee bar in the lobby. Tasty coffee. And pastries to go!

Cool common area, efficient staff. Room is very plain, and small, barely have place to open a medium size suitcase.... the breakfast presentation was the worst I’ve seen in my life though... due to covid they now bring you a tray of breakfast food. Literally a tray. Bread, cheese, and cold cuts are directly placed on the tray. Even McDonald’s trays have proper paper inlays that cover the whole surface of the tray. Here, it looks pretty sad and borderline disturbing for me, personally. Perhaps it’s a culture difference, but I truly think they could work a bit on that. Especially with the price, I think diners deserve to have proper plate to eat off their bread.

Ideal location 4 stops away from Central on the metro also trams regular to take you to AmstelStation.. hotel is located 5 minutes walk from here . Rooms clean and tidy . Beds slightly uncomfortable but I’m fussy that way me and My mother both enjoyed our break and our stay here staff all very friendly and welcoming great job . Never tried breakfast etc although cakes looked good :)

I am a regular at this hotel, and last Saturday I was amazed that the reception new my name, and had arranged a room to my liking. Than at my room was a long hand written note welcoming me, when we left the hotel they rushed to hand us an umbrella (as it rained) and then the next day at breakfast they also knew my name. I was shocked. Never ever before in my life, even though I am an very high frequent traveller, have I felt so welcome and recognized. Taking everything into account, having stayed in thousands of hotels in my life, ranging from 3 stars to the most exquisite hotels, this is my favorite. It has everything I expect from a hotel, done very well, and nothing over the top that would make it ridiculously expensive. Just my perfect mix. Chapeau!
