This is the best adult festival in the world to get wild and crazy. Be the sexy you that you can't anywhere else. FF usually last 2 weeks and end around Halloween weekend. The first week is usually family friendly. The second is for adults and this is when the fun begins. Check the official website for dates every year.
It's very hard to find accommodations in Key West and when you do it's full price. So to save either book a year in advance or last minute after cancel deadline. Parking seem like it would be horrendous but it's actually not hard to find. Just park near the Southernmost hotel end and walk up Duvall St. Everything happens on Duvall St. so no need to venture anywhere else, head towards Duvall and there's the party, day and night.
Reserve restaurants in advance also. For parade seating, it's easy to find space near the south end of Duvall where the parade ends. They'll throw all the beads they got left over here. Enjoy...
There was no Fantasy Fest while we were in Key West. We were in town just before Christmas 2020. We did see some men in some good drag outfits though as we wandered Duval Street.

Oh man, Fantasy Fest. One of the best parties (or weeks) in my life. What a blast. Everyone should be there at least once in his life. Drinking and naked dancing through the streets, what do you want more from life? :)
It was canceled this year due to covid. Absolutely loved it the prior you and will be back in 2021!
