I love WeWork! I travel out of the country and to different places in the state and LOVE being able to work at the different locations. This specific location is really nice and offers a quiet, friendly environment to work. There is a ping pong table upstairs which I make use of all the time. Coffee is good and so is the beer after a long day of work!
Love the look and location, parking is...downtown parking. Cool things like the snack bar, wifi, printing/copying, shredding, being co close to other businesses make this co-working space a gem.
But I really was sold on this space for my company because of the Center Manager Kris! Throughout the whole process she has been a visionary and very innovative, from ideas about designing my space to promoting my company. She's always available when we need her and keeps the property well maintained and fun with the networking events!
Best of the shared office/conference room spaces I've seen. Very professional atmosphere, not the "startup" vibe you get at other co-working buildings. I've been here about a month and the staff has been attentive and responsive to any needs I've had. So as far as things they can control, Servcorp knocks it out of the park. Two things they can't control have been the only minor inconveniences so far- the mobile app for booking conference room space is clunky and not so easy to use; and there is a lot of construction going on around the building that makes getting into the building somewhat difficult. This is just a minor annoyance, and again out of Servcorp's control. Everything else has been awesome!
I had the honor and privileged in having my first office with Industrious; #37. Getting the keys and seeing my office was a dream come true coming from my background. I started my first blog in 2014, grew it for the last 6 years and never thought I would have an office to create content, host events, and create a community for individuals like myself. When Industrious opened it's doors we collaborated on my first event at the space; we came together to talk about details, theme, and everything else in which the event was a success and titled "The Millennial Man". Since covid-19 hit the world things have changed, temperature checks and sign-ins for members and guest are apart of the norm now along with monthly member highlights via email blast, breakfast, happy hours and more. I can't forget about the staff virtually and in person have been great; kind, warm, inviting and honest.
The team here at Scanlan represent what coworking space is all about. I am always greeted with a friendly attitude when I visit the common space for my free delicious coffee (or beer). Perfect location downtown off of the rail with easy parking accommodations. The building, while a little older, boasts great historic architecture and is often a talking piece with our guests. Definitely recommend to anyone considering a coworking space in Downtown Houston.
Launched my business out of this excellent coworking space. WiCoWork is a friendly space that is comfortable, eco-conscious, and convenient. The space is clean, decorated with funky artwork, and has lots of different work areas available. I highly recommend!
Is stumbled upon the place because I was searching for an affordable co-working space. I was immediately greeted with a smile when I walked in the door by Tress and Elie. They both create an amazing vibe inside the space and always remember to have fresh coffee ready! I was extremely impressed by how clean the space was. The Bathrooms, desks and kitchen were immaculate. The internet speed is lighting fast! I am able to upload youtube workout videos within minutes. I highly recommend the Annex if you are a digital nomad, young professional or just looking for a super chill place to work. Thank you to Tress and Elie for creating a clean, friendly and welcoming environment! I will be back soon!
I took a tour of this facility and all I can say is WOW! The concept, vibe, and overall aesthetic exceeded my expectations. Kiana toured me around and was warm, hospitable, and energetic. She was enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, and even made me a Cinnamon Latte (which was AH-MAY-ZING). Looking forward to joining this amazing community.
I've been a coworking member here for about a year now, and I love everything about it: the friendly staff, the fresh local coffee, and the community of great people. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for office or coworking space!
After multiple visits to TXRX, and extremely helpful conversations with the senior staff, I am writing to endorse this organization. Some months ago, I was referred to TXRX by key individuals on the Station Houston team and several client members of that organization. While I initially experienced difficulty in scheduling a visit and conversation, the wait and effect were well worth my while.
On the day I was able to visit, even though the facility was receiving a large group of visitors from an area high school, I was personally met at the door by Mr. Ronnie Devries, TXRX Operations Manager, who proceeded to give me a detailed and extended tour of all the many and varied spaces and core areas, seeded across multiple buildings. Ronnie is affable, knowledgeable and welcoming, and his patter as we toured made this a most enjoyable experience. The facilities spaces, equipment an activities definitely speak to the dedicated "maker community" - both those who are on TXRX staff and the many, varied client members of the extensive organization.
With obvious pride and excitement Mr. Devries shared that this bustling campus was experiencing such phenomenal growth the organization is now in the process of identifying a much larger capacity physical complex, in order to address the growth, expansion of services and diversity of programming. So inspired was I by the community, facilities and team of workers and volunteers of this not-for-profit organization, I was moved to begin introducing others to TXRX, and look forward to availing myself of their services, in future.
A huge "thank you," to the TXRX family for being so welcoming and receptive to exploring the possibilities for collaboration, and to those who first commended this organization to me. Insofar as I am concerned (having only recently relocated to the Houston area), TXRX is exactly the kind of critical infrastructure needed in Houston...really, in any city of this size, in facilitating and inspiring its start-up and maker communities.
