This place is awesome!! Some of my classmates and I had been looking for a place to be able to study and attend zoom lab sessions together and this place came in clutch. Elie(who works the front desk) is amazing because shes been awesome enough to accommodate us for the hours that we need. Even though this place opens up at 9 she's been nice enough to allows us in at 8. Super dope place would definitely recommend it for group studying!!
I am a graduate student whose classes are currently online. My classes are very hands on and require a partner(s) and The Annex has been the only place we have been a able to use in Houston in the midst of the pandemic. They have been very accommodating letting us come in early. The staff is amazing and the place is beautiful and very quite.
I really like The Annex, but I went recently (September 2020) and the mask policy is not enforced. I called ahead of time and was told masks are required at all times unless your seated at a table. The employee that greeted me and took my payment was not wearing a mask and there were other individuals walking around without masks. There is plenty of room so I felt comfortable seated away from others, but I'm disappointed in the lack of mask enforcement, especially by an employee. I ended up leaving ~10 minutes after arriving.
A great place to study,the atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. Rooms are rented out for groups that need to be closed off from the open area. Great location !
Is stumbled upon the place because I was searching for an affordable co-working space. I was immediately greeted with a smile when I walked in the door by Tress and Elie. They both create an amazing vibe inside the space and always remember to have fresh coffee ready! I was extremely impressed by how clean the space was. The Bathrooms, desks and kitchen were immaculate. The internet speed is lighting fast! I am able to upload youtube workout videos within minutes. I highly recommend the Annex if you are a digital nomad, young professional or just looking for a super chill place to work. Thank you to Tress and Elie for creating a clean, friendly and welcoming environment! I will be back soon!
