All the glitters does not shine"
Seems like such a wonderful place and such a grand idea, but the execution of that idea (on so many levels) is poor. I have been to the restaurant, the food store and have visited Le Square co-working space several times and keep hoping to be more impressed, but walk away gloomier and gloomier after every visit.
The shelves of the restaurant / bakery were bare this past Saturday. The service is sluggish and not well trained. The food menu gets worse and worse. And quality of food was subpar. Even my 5 year old daughter said the 5 cheese pizza was "yuck"- and she has NEVER turned down pizza before. Afterwards we went to the grocery store but the selection was just awful and a bit bizzare...
Later I visited the co-working space- the entrance was through a dingy back door and I had to walk up 6 (yes SIX) flights of stairs before I got to a lovely industrial style reception area. The work space and reception looked nice, but there was no staff around to help or answer questions, so I wandered around myself... I wanted to rent the conference room for a presentation and event for my company and could not get any answers... staff had a post office like mentality.
I finally gave my contact info and a description of the event to the staff who were waiting downstairs just outside the dingy entrance doors and she promised someone would call... well, 5 days later i had to call them... and then I got a run around trying to get simple answers... until they had Ms Ngoc, the Manager, call back. She was polite but unhelpful and I had to exchange several emails getting very simple answers. They are closed on Sunday... and would not open. when I asked why, she said it cost to much to open on Sunday and also said no companies want to work on Sunday... well my company does.
All in all, poorly trained staff, a design with a sense of trying hard to impress and with the intent of dealing with high end expat and wealthy VN clientele... but they simply do not have the chops or service standard to carry it off. as stated, all that glitters is not gold... and LE Square is pyrite at its best... just don;t scratch beneath the veneer.
Do not think they can ever be successful without understanding client experience and the value of really caring for your client.
Terrible service at the supermarket. Very rude to customer for an upscale supermarket.

In addition to supermarkets selling imported goods, there are coffee and delicious cakes. The price is also very reasonable. Enthusiastic staff. Will come back again and again.
