Awesome place. Bit out of town. The staff are really good English speakers and kings at banter. Free beer hour and we booked a day trip with them which was awesome. We were very difficult guests by accident and it never seemed to irritate them. Would definately recommend to anyone going to Cat Ba.
Super helpful staff. Loved the free walking tour. The breakfast was pretty good and the rooftop bar was a lovely place to hang out. The room was simple but comfortable and spacious. Very well-located. They even sold us a SIM card for the trip, which was really useful.
The rooms are nice and well maintained. You can wait in the lobby if you arrive before the check-in time.
The staff is very helpful. You may be able to check in early depending on the availability of rooms.
You can book various tours from the hostel itself including 2-3 day sapa tour which includes trekking .
Also, you can rent the bike from the counter if you want to explore the city yourself.
Central backpackers hostel made the start of our trip in Vietnam a great one. We landed in Hanoi and arrived at the hostel (via a driver they had arranged for us at a reasonable price). We came just in time for the free beers and mingling (after which there is free shots!) The rooftop bar/restaurant is lively during the evening and a good place to chill in the daytime. The chicken fried rice is DELICIOUS!! They arrange a pub crawl every night I believe and you’ll meet plenty of new people. We stayed in the private room but still were able to mingle with people. The free breakfast changes a little every day so you’re not bored! In the heart of Old Quarter there are plenty of things within walking distance of this hostel! When we came back to Hanoi this place was booked and we were disappointed, that’s how much we liked them! We even did a tour and got our SIM cards through this hostel. Definitely would recommend!
Super stay at this hostel nice clean rooms, good facilities and great staff! We took the three day hideaway tour to ha long bay. Big shout to Alex and ruby for bringing the fun. And to leo our fantastic tour guide.
