Bit hit and miss with the staff, had a really horrible staff member who was just plain rude and told me where I could and couldn’t sit before sighing all the time whilst I was there and then a nice one, I think the nicer one felt sorry for me. Is a shame since they have nice drinks.
Staffs are not so welcoming and polite. Coffee and cappuccino are not really good. I went different time to see if there’s any changes in quality but still the same. Definitely Not coming back.

Unwelcoming and unfriendly staff. First you buy something to drink and before you pay they ask if you want to have it take away or consume inside. After you have chosen to consume your drink there they offer you a glass, so far so good.
You do the payment for your drink and head out for a seat. No sir! That would be €5 per hour if you would like to sit down. say again?! Then I would like to return my drink and I will have my drink somewhere else. Sorry sir we don’t give refunds, I can give you a voucher?
Thanks but no thanks, the chance I would come back anytime would be zero.
EDIT: Thanks for the reply. She was alone in the shop and she didn’t mention, so I don’t know how you could claim she explained before. Apparently based on the reviews I wasn’t the only one having this issue at Westhoff. Nevertheless I hope you do make other customers satisfied and please tell the next one in line in advance about your €5 per seat policy instead of afterwards when you already bought your food and drinks.
Thanks for the offer, but next time I will choose one of the other great spots in the area. It’s not only about your service but as well about the attitude. It doesn’t hurt to have a little smile now and then .
I've visited them for a good cappuccino here and there. I must say they have really, really amazing croissantjes :)
I always visited this place during the weekend because they had a free working area, so I used to have my lunch and my coffee there and checking my emails at the same time. Now they are asking for 5 euro per hour if you want to use your laptop and this is unbelievable for me. The place is nice but they just offer a table and wifi, nothing special, it's too expensive to stay there with your laptop.
