Feels like something out of George Orwell's 1984. Temperature checks every time you use the facility. A facial recognition thermometer that is most likely creating a database. A front desk attendant who threatens to call the cops if you don't use it. I forgot if I was a human being or a cow. A series of mandated protocols (which by the way are not laws) so you can use a weight room? I would give this place zero stars if I could.
Awesome rec center! You will need to join to use it but it's well worth the money!
This Rec center used to be the gym I would use every time i’d vacation down here in Gulf Shores. $5 a day for a day pass to train and now because of “covid” you have to buy a membership. $60 membership for a MONTH?? How sad and ridiculous. I guess as long as you pay the $60 that means you don’t have covid then huh??? L.O.L. Shake my head.
Friendly staff that are complying with the COVID-19 mandates. Processes are in place so everyone working out feels safe.
